Open ScreenCaptureOne and return to Setup Guide. Confirm that Accessibility and display-over-other-apps access are ready, then start the floating button again. Android can withdraw overlay or Accessibility access after system changes, so recheck both statuses before reinstalling the app.
Scrolling capture depends on the content exposing compatible Android scroll actions. When the current page, app, or conversation cannot continue automatically, ScreenCaptureOne saves a standard screenshot instead. Try the same action on a fully scrollable page and keep the target content in front while capture runs.
Translator is a Plus mode. In Settings > AI Setup, choose a supported provider, enter and test its API key, then select a discovered translation model. If OCR or the provider request fails, use Retry in the translation reader after confirming the target language and network connection.
Use the ScreenCaptureOne recording notification for Pause, Resume, and Stop. The Quick Settings tile can also stop an active recording. Android shows its standard screen-share consent before recording begins; if consent is cancelled, start the recording again from ScreenCaptureOne.
Audio transcript captures internal playback and is intended for short voice messages. Start audible playback after capture begins and keep it playing until the waveform detects sound. Some apps block Android internal-audio capture; ScreenCaptureOne rejects decoded silence before any provider upload rather than sending an empty recording.
The default save location is Pictures/ScreenCaptureOne. Home shows the active folder, free space, and latest save. Recent can filter screenshots and videos, search filenames, sort newest or oldest, and group related captures into collections. Plus can use a custom output directory.
No. Screenshot OCR runs on the device. Translator sends extracted text, not the screenshot image, to the provider you configure. Audio transcript extracts audio locally and uploads that audio to the selected transcription provider. Provider credentials remain encrypted on the device and Android cloud backup is disabled for them.
ScreenCaptureOne waits for Google Play to verify the entitlement. A pending purchase remains locked until Google Play confirms it. Keep the same Play account active, check the purchase status in Google Play, reconnect to the network, and reopen the app before contacting support with the order details.
